Stackle & Canvas LMS Guides: Adding Items to a Modules

In Canvas, you can add Packages or Pathways into a Module as an Item.

Step-By-Step Guide #

1. In Canvas Modules, click on the ‘Add Content’ button for a Module. #

2. Using the ‘External Tool’ option, select ‘Stackle’. #

In the ‘Add Items’ popup window, select ‘External Tool’ as the option to add, then select ‘Stackle’ from the list of External Tools.

3. Choose to add either a Package or Pathway: #

You will have the option to add either a Package or a Pathway as an Item.

a) Adding a Package as an Item. #

If adding a Package as an Item, first select the Package Group, and then select the Package you wish to add as an Item.

b) Adding a Pathway as an Item. #

If adding a Pathway as an Item, select the Pathway you wish to add.

4. Once you have selected the item to add, click ‘Add Item’. #

Before you add the Item, remember you can update the Item’s name by replacing the text in the ‘Page Name’ text box.

5. The item will be added to the Module as Unpublished. #
