The roles in Stackle can be summarised as having the following abilities

Organisation Administrator – Manage User Access
– Create Workspaces
– Alter any content in Organisation
Organisation Member – Access Organisation
– Create content from Stacks down
Workspace Leader – Manage Workspace User Access
– Alter any content in Workspace
Workspace Member – Access Workspace
– Create content from Stacks down
Stack Lead Author – Manage Stack Co-Authoring
– Delete a Stack
Stack Author – Access Stack
– Create content from Blocks down
Participant – A User who interacts with the front end
– No access to Organisation

Role Details #

Organisation Administrator #

An Organisation Administrator has the ability to manage user access, create workspaces, and alter any content within the organisation. This role holds the highest level of authority and control within the organisation, ensuring that all aspects of content and user management are maintained effectively.

Organisation Member #

An Organisation Member has the ability to access the organisation and create content from Stacks down. This role allows users to contribute to the development of learning resources while working within the structure of the organisation.

Workspace Leader #

A Workspace Leader is responsible for managing user access within a specific workspace and can alter any content in that workspace. This role helps maintain the flow of content creation and collaboration within designated workspaces.

Workspace Member #

A Workspace Member has access to a specific workspace and can create content from Stacks down. This role allows users to engage with and contribute to the content creation process within their assigned workspace.

Stack Lead Author #

A Stack Lead Author has the ability to manage co-authoring within a Stack and can delete a Stack if necessary. This role ensures that collaborative work within a Stack is well-coordinated and that content remains organised.

Stack Author #

A Stack Author has access to a specific Stack and can create content from Blocks down. This role enables users to contribute to the creation of learning resources within the scope of a single Stack.

Participant #

A Participant is a user who interacts with the front end of the platform and has no access to the organisation. This role is focused on engaging with and consuming the content created by the other roles, providing valuable insights and feedback to improve the learning experience.
