Copying a Pathway

You can copy an existing Pathway to another location including across Workspaces. Copying a Pathway can be done via the Pathway Editor.

Choose the required Stack and Cohort, and click the Publish Menu, to display the lists of Package Groups and Pathways. Click on the required Pathway.

Step-By-Step Guide #

1. Open the ‘Pathway Actions’ menu, and click ‘Copy’. #

Open the ‘Pathway Actions’ menu from the Pathway Editor and select the ‘Copy’ option. This will open the ‘Copy Pathway’ window.

2. Title the Copy #

Provide a new Title for the copy of the Pathway. By default, the existing Title will be used with ‘(Copy)’ added to the end.

3. Set the Destination #

Select a new Destination to copy the Pathway to. Set a ‘Destination Workspace’, ‘Destination Stack’ and ‘Destination Cohort’.

4. Select whether to copy Questions #

You can select whether to copy any associated Questions with the Pathway across to the new Destination Cohort. If the ‘Copy Questions’ option is enabled, all Questions and Pools associated with Packages of the Pathway will also be copied across.

Copy Questions: When enabled, copies across any Questions that are associated with the Pathway.

Collate Questions in to one Pool: If ‘Copy Questions’ is enabled, toggles whether any copied Questions are collated into one Pool in the new Destination.

Smart Copy and Link: If ‘Copy Questions is enabled, toggles whether only unique Questions that do not already exist within the new location are copied across.

5. Click ‘Copy Pathway’ #

To finalise copying across the Pathway, click the ‘Copy Pathway’ button.
